Bark beetle geospatial dataset from 2017 to 2021 (Pokljuka, Slovenia)

This geospatial dataset provides bark beetle infestation areas derived from Sentinel-2 time series between 2017 and 2021 over the Pokljuka plateau, Slovenia. It is based on a combination of NDVI and NBSI vegetation index time series, processed using the CuSum algorithm for change detection. The final dataset represents the intersection of high-magnitude breakpoint maps from both indices, overlaid with in-situ ground truth data. he result is a spatially explicit raster mask of likely bark beetle disturbance areas at 10 m resolution, suitable for further ecological analysis, classification tasks, and deep learning applications.
