The data files are related to work summarized in our preprint on BioRxiv https://doi.org/10.1101/2024.11.25.625223 and the sequencing data available on ENA PRJEB82852. File description: 1) the .fasta files contain the assembled whole genome sequences of the fungi that make up the mock cummunity of the study. The files can be opened with any text editor. 2) the .xlsx files contain the tab separated results of taxonomic classifications executed for the amplicon sequencing data obtained with various primer pairs (pairs 7, 8, 9, 10, and "3.5") for the mock community and the holobiont sample. The classification was performed against a custom database and the NCBI RefSeq target Logi database for the mock community, and with a custom database and the SILVA database for the holobiont sample. The files can be opened with MS office.
