资源简介:
This metadata publication presents a camera trap dataset collected for the Korup National Park project, as a part of the Tropical Ecology Assessment and Monitoring (TEAM) Network, in Cameroon, Africa. The TEAM Network uses standardized methods to collect near-real time data on biodiversity, climate and land-cover change in 17 sites across Africa, Asia and Latin America. Over the course of the project, 69 cameras have been used in 294 deployments, resulting in 222,388 total images (172,352 identified wildlife images). The dataset encompasses 48 identified species, with the most frequently recorded being Blue Duiker (Philantomba monticola) with 48,934 images, Forest Giant Pouched Rat (Cricetomys emini) with 31,009 images, Ogilby's Duiker (Cephalophus ogilbyi) with 22,502 images, Red River Hog (Potamochoerus porcus) with 12,427 images, Black Guineafowl (Agelastes niger) with 11,429 images, and other species collectively accounting for 47,261 images. Paired cameras and bait were not used in this project.
