Resequencing of the 15 strains (and 3 related strains) used to found the Drosophila Synthetic Population Resource. These strains are completely resequenced using PE data. The strains were combined, allowed to randomly mate for 50 generations and the resulting material used to create a panel of ~1700 Recombinant Inbred strains suitable for dissecting complex traits.
