Forecasting Exoplanet Parameter Precision for the ESA Ariel Mission
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains three data products from the forward modelling study of transit parameter retrieval precision for the ESA Ariel mission target sample (~1000 exoplanets). snr_summary.csvTransit signal-to-noise ratio estimates for each planet, spectral channel, and wavelength bin, computed from ExoRad noise budgets using the formula SNR = (Rp/Rs)^2 / sqrt(sigma_white^2/T14 + sigma_floor^2). summary_full.csvPer-planet, per-channel statistical summary of the retrieved parameter distributions derived from 200 independent noise realisations. Includes mean, median, KDE mode, standard deviation, 16th and 84th percentile uncertainties, skewness, excess kurtosis, Shapiro-Wilk normality test results, and Pearson/Spearman correlation coefficients between all pairs of fitted parameters (Rp/Rs, a/Rs, t0, b). mean_correlations_by_filter.csvMean Pearson and Spearman inter-parameter correlation coefficients averaged over the full planet sample, reported separately for each of the six Ariel channels (VISPhot, FGS1, FGS2, NIRSpec, AIRS-CH0, AIRS-CH1).
