Specific responsibilities: Municipal traffic and road administration departments shall be specifically responsible for the supervision and management of the construction, maintenance and repair of urban expressways, arterial roads and their attached bridges. District and county-level traffic and road administration departments shall be specifically responsible for the supervision and management of the construction, maintenance and repair of urban secondary roads, branch roads and their attached bridges within their respective administrative regions.
