The corrected raw data

Herein is the raw data used for all subsequent analyses. There is one data file, and two programs. One program combines multiple data files into a single dataset, while another is used to search for errors in the data. The most common errors are of two types. 1) Repeat waveforms. NP-C-C-D is not allowed. However, the program does not know if the consecutive pathway behaviors (waveform C) are the same behavior recorded twice, or if partway through the behavior it was stopped and then continued. 2) Invalid transitions. NP-G, NP-D, NP-E1, NP-E2, C-E1, C-E2, G-D, G-E1, G-E2, D-G, D-E2, E1-G, and E2-G are not allowed. It might be possible to have E1-D, and E2-D but these have never been observed and should be carefully examined if found. The errors are mostly self-evident. The first example NP-G would mean that the insect did not have stylets inserted into the plant and then immediately started ingesting xylem. The sample rate of 1/100 second is fast enough that it is not possible for the insect to move anywhere without being detected. It is assumed that these steps were performed successfully in all subsequent steps in the analysis of these data. There is no further error checking.
