Aquatic invertebrates of the Hutt Lagoon and Hutt River catchments

This survey of aquatic invertebrates of the Hutt Lagoon and Hutt River Catchments was funded by the Northern Agricultural Catchments Council (NACC) using commonwealth and state funds, facilitated by DPaW's Natural Diversity Recovery Catchment Program and Midwest regional office.

###Aims

* describe the aquatic invertebrate communities of the Hutt River and Hutt Lagoon catchments.
* investigate the biogeographic affinities of the fauna.
* assess the extent to which the catchments support a fauna already represented in other wetlands and catchments managed for conservation in the southwest agricultural zone.
* identify priorities for aquatic invertebrate conservation in these catchments.
