Global hydrobelts and hydroregions

Hydrobelts divide the global landmasses into eight hydrological regions with resolution of 0.5°, based primarily on the annual average temperature (T) and runoff (q). The interbelt differences were maximised and intrabelt variability minimise. These hydrobelts are decomposed on continents as 26 hydroregions.
