This series consists of remnants of the correspondence file series of the Electricity Commission of New South Wales and Eraring Energy. Records of the Electricity Commission of New South Wales were transferred to State-owned corporations along with related functions and power station infrastructure.The files relate to specific cases such as the industrial potential for power station land and legal services correspondence relating to specific litigation. The records are in printed file covers and have function and activity based titling. There are various file numbering systems including annual single number and an alphanumeric classified number. Groups of files have also been allocated a running number (e.g. 1256-000231 etc.) from the current recordkeeping system which does not appear on the files and has been included in the file title for the purposes of transfer.本档案系列由新南威尔士州电力委员会（Electricity Commission of New South Wales）与伊拉林能源公司（Eraring Energy）的往来函件档案系列的遗存部分构成。新南威尔士州电力委员会的档案随其相关职能与电站基础设施一并移交至国有企业。本批档案涉及两类特定案例：一是电站用地的产业开发潜力相关材料，二是针对特定诉讼的法务往来函件。所有档案均采用印制档案袋封装，并以职能与活动为依据进行命名编目。档案采用多种编号体系，包括年度单编号与字母数字混合分类编号。部分档案组还被分配了当前档案管理系统生成的流水号（例如1256-000231等），此类编号并未印制于档案本体之上，为便于移交归档，已将其纳入档案标题中。
