Purchase, production and consumption of energy from sewage treatment plants (from 01-01-2016)

This database contains data on the purchase, consumption and production of energy from sewage treatment plants. It distinguishes between different types of fuels and consumption applications. The data are available in both physical quantities (m³, kwh) and in the standard energy measure (Joule). The yields of various conversion processes are also given. The energy data are broken down into the three main processes of transporting waste water, sewage treatment and sludge dewatering. The survey will be conducted on behalf of a number of other bodies, including Rijkswaterstaat, RIVM and the cooperation in the context of the Emission Registration. Mainly electronic survey.
