Climatological Data for Agricultural Land Classification

Climatic data are required for the assessment of Agricultural Land Classification (ALC). The climatic data listed here are provided as a grid dataset with 5km spacings. The datasets are derived from data supplied by the Meteorological Office, Bracknell. They were compiled and validated in collaboration with the Soil Survey and Land Research Centre (SSLRC now NSRI) and the MAFF Agricultural Development and Advisory Service (ADAS).
