资源简介:
## **Abstract** \n\nThis dataset and its metadata statement were supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and are presented here as originally supplied\n\nThe following extract is a data extract from NSW office of Water which includes NOWs Monitoring Bores, Power generation bores and bores for Town Water Supply in the Hunter Region. These were provided as part of the feedback from the Hunter Workshop which suggested including in Bioregional Assessment data the distinction between High Security bores and others. The following paragraph was provided in email by the data providers:\n\n\n\n"The definition of high security water and what they are, are in the water sharing plans for each water source. High security water is defined by source (e.g. regulated rivers; or purpose, by default). All I know is that town water supply is high security water and water for power generation is above high security water. For example if there is a drought, water for industrial use such as mines will be cut off first followed by irrigators to meet the water supply for power generation. Water for power generation can be both sourced from surface water and groundwater."\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nMakes a distinction between High Security Bores, NOW Monitoring bores and bores for power generation in the Hunter Region. These attributes have been included in the GW Economic Assets Hunter Database (GUID)\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThis dataset and its metadata statement were supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and are presented here as originally supplied.\n\n\n\nNo history statement was provided.\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nNSW Office of Water (2015) Monitoring Power Generation and Water Supply Bores Hunter NOW 20150514.
