Phylogenetic analyses and sequence alignments of chemosensory receptor genes across cave and surface populations of Astyanax mexicanus

This dataset provides materials supporting phylogenetic analyses of chemosensory receptor genes in cave and surface populations of Astyanax mexicanus. For each receptor family (OR, TAAR, V1R, V2R, T2R), it includes unedited tree files used for figures in the associated study (*.tree), the amino acid sequences used to build the analyses (*aa.fa), multiple sequence alignments generated with MAFFT L-INS-i and trimmed with trimAl (*removed.fa), and BED-format annotations of chemosensory receptor genes for the A. mexicanus genome assemblies AstMex3_surface, AstMex3_Tinaja, AstMex3_Molino, and AMEX_1.1 (Pachon sample) (*.bed).
