Greater Yellowstone Network Published Water Quality Data through 2025 from the BICAWQ01, GRTEWQ01, and YELLWQ01 Projects as of 2026-03-31

Data contained in the Greater Yellowstone Network NPSTORET back-end file (GRYN_NPSTORET_BE_20260331.ACCDB) were used to create a special NPSTORET back-end file (GRYN_NPSTORET_BE_20260330_With_Only_Data_Uploaded_Through_2025.ACCDB) containing just the results being published for the Greater Yellowstone Network’s ongoing project monitoring at three parks: (1) Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area (BICAWQ01); (2) Grand Teton National Park (GRTEWQ01); and (3) Yellowstone National Park (YELLWQ01) through 2025.

All data from 2006-2025 for the projects GRTEWQ01 and YELLWQ01 from the following locations:

GRTEWQ01 Project: GRTE_BFR1, GRTE_GVRMID, GRTE_PAC02, GRTE_SNR01, GRTE_SNR02, GRTE_SNRDAM, GRTE_SPC02

YELLWQ01 Project: YELL_LM000.5M, YELL_LOC01, YELL_MD133.2T, YELL_MDR, YELL_PC000.4M, YELL_YS549.7M, YELL_YS616.4M

and all data from 2005-2025 for the project BICAWQ01 from the following locations:

BICAWQ01 Project: BICA_BHR1, BICA_BHR2, BICA_LCKHOSSPR1, BICA_LCR2, BICA_MIDDLE_LAYOUT, BICA_SHR1, BICA_SHR2

are included along with any associated TripQC results.

The data package is organized into five data tables:
- Projects.csv - describes the purpose and background of the monitoring efforts
- Locations.csv - documents the attributes of the monitoring locations/stations
- Results.csv - contains the field measurements, observations, and/or lab analyses for each sample/event/data grouping
- HUC.csv - enumerates the domain of allowed values for 8-digit and 12-digit hydrologic unit codes utilized by the Locations data table
- Characteristics.csv - enumerates the domain of characteristics available in NPSTORET to identify what was sampled, measured or observed in Results

Period of record for filtered data is 2005-06-27 to 2025-12-19. This data package is a snapshot in time of multiple National Park Service projects. The most current data for these projects, which may be more or less extensive than that in this data package, can be found on the Water Quality Portal at:
