In this study, thermophilic composting and fermentation system was designed to treat swine liquid manure. Corn straw and swine manure water were used as raw materials for fermentation, and the physicochemical parameters, organic matter depletion and evaporation of manure water as well as the composition and succession of bacterial communities during the composting process were measured to evaluate the maturation of compost in the process, the efficiency of manure water evaporation, and to further investigate the interaction mechanism between organic matter depletion and functional microbial communities of compost
