Optimization of Nanopore WGS

Building upon our previous work optimizing DNA extraction for ONT-based AMR surveillance, this study evaluates the next step in the workflow: library preparation. Specifically, we assessed the impact on multiplex level and input DNA concentration on sequencing performance using ONTs Rapid Barcoding kit v14 (SQK-RBK114, Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Oxford, UK) to identify practical configurations that maximize sequencing success while remaining feasible for low-resource laboratories.
