Increase tick database is very important once they are the second disease vector in the world and responsible to tramsmit a several zoonotic diseases. Insights into midgut and ovaries are important to discovery new genes involved to metabolism and reproduction which helps the knonwnledge about tick biology and the vector-pathogen-host interactions. The present mialo and ovary transcriptome of Amblyomma sculptum were functional annoted to compare and increase tick database.
