The China Consumer Complaint Service Platform is dedicated to resolving consumption disputes between consumers and enterprises. By offering complaint submission channels, the platform helps consumers safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, while also providing enterprises with opportunities to resolve issues. Users can file complaints via the dedicated complaint APP or web portal. First, users need to register an account, then complete a complaint form, which includes the complained party, complaint requests, complaint title and detailed complaint grounds. When drafting complaint content, users should refrain from using insulting or definitive language, and instead provide detailed descriptions in a civilized manner.
In addition, the platform has launched a collective complaint function. For cases where multiple consumers have disputes over the same incident, after one user initiates a collective complaint, other affected consumers can quickly participate by referencing the content submitted by the initiator. This function streamlines the complaint process for consumers and provides a "mutual assistance" channel and platform. Meanwhile, participants in collective complaints can share information, pool their efforts, amplify the influence of their complaints, urge enterprises to resolve complaints more efficiently, and thereby better protect their own legitimate rights and interests.
CnOpenData has released the China Consumer Online Complaint Text Dataset, which is categorized into two parts: the China Consumer Online Complaint Basic Information Table and the China Consumer Online Complaint Process Progress Table. The dataset features timeliness, objectivity and impartiality, covering fields such as complaint ID, initiator/processing entity, initiation time, complaint content, complained party, complaint status, amount involved in the dispute, and more, with the aim of supporting relevant research.
