To investigate the microRNA profiles of ovarian clear cell carcinoma (OCCC), microRNA sequencing was performed using formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) and fresh-frozen clinical samples. Moreover, patient-derived xenograft (PDX) tumors and cell lines were also investigated. Overall design: Comprehensive microRNA sequencing was performed using FFPE samples of 20 primary, five recurrent ovarian clear cell carcinoma, and ten contralateral normal ovary samples. Moreover, we included two patients with metastatic OCCC, and their fresh-frozen samples were used. Furthermore, the miRNA profiles of three paired PDX and primary tumors and cell lines were also investigated.
