This dataset contains the image data, numerical material-property maps,stationary-domain masks, and reference outputs used in the study“Representativeness emerges from statistical admissibility andlong-wavelength structural convergence”. The BSE archive contains seven full-resolution backscattered-electron imagesof Arabian dune-sand polished sections. These images were used to identifystatistically admissible structural domains and determine the structuralrepresentative elementary area from persistent convergence of the apparentgray-level mean and the low-wavenumber covariance spectrum. The QEMSCAN archive contains numerical two-dimensional thermal conductivity,Young’s modulus, and Poisson-ratio maps derived from mineralogicalclassification. These maps retain the physical numerical values required forperiodic thermal and elastic homogenization and must not be replaced byintensity-rescaled visualization images. The reference-output archive contains the stationary-domain masks, structuralREA calculations, property-homogenization summaries, figure-generatingoutputs, and execution logs associated with the manuscript calculations. The structural analysis identifies a representative elementary area of1536 BSE pixels, corresponding to approximately 2.01 mm. After conversion tothe QEMSCAN property-map grid, the predicted support corresponds to 204 pixels,or approximately 2.04 mm. The accompanying software is maintained in the GitHub repository“representativeness-emerges” and archived separately as a Zenodo softwarerecord.
