The International 2021, a Dota 2 competition, was the most successful e-sports tournament for professional players from Russia in terms of total prize money won over the period from 2017 to 2024. Russian participants won approximately 12 million U.S. dollars at The International 2021. To compare, at The International 2023, the players earned over 1.2 million U.S. dollars.
