This thesis analyzes how archaic words persist in modern language through lexical-semantic and pragmatic perspectives. The study aims to identify the functional domains of archaisms, their stylistic value, and their linkage to cultural memory. Methods include corpus-based observation, contextual analysis, and discourse comparison. Scientific novelty lies in proposing a refuctionalization model in which archaisms remain active by acquiring new communicative roles rather than merely being preserved as relics.
