## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nFile contains the calculated values for the residual rainfall mass for monthly rainfall data from the Boggabri Post Office Bureau of Meteorology gauge (no. 055007).\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThe data from the source file was rearranged to facilitate manipulation. \n\nThe average rainfall for each month was calculated for the period Jan 1970 to Dec 2012.\n\nThe mean monthly rainfall was calculated by averaging all of the monthly rainfall averages (ie the average January rainfall, the average February rainfall etc).\n\nThe monthly deviation from the mean was determined as the difference between the monthly rainfall and the average for that month \n\nThe cumulative monthly deviation from the mean was then determined for each month in the period Jan 1970 to Dec 2012.\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nBioregional Assessment Programme (2017) Boggabri PO residual rainfall mass.
