NRS-14389 | Land claim ledgers

These ledgers give particulars of land claimed by the New South Wales Government on behalf of such bodies and offices as Municipal Councils, mining companies, the Colonial Architect, the Education Department, and the Main Roads Board and Department of Main Roads, for such purposes as provision of electricity and water supply, roads, bridges, sewerage, recreation areas and improvements to harbours and rivers. They cite date of proclamation of claim; name of claimant; quantity, locality and description of land claimed; with particulars of amounts of compensation given to owners, lessees or occupants.(7/14861-83). 23 vols.
