资源简介:
This dataset contains Biodiversity Intactness Index (BII) maps for sub-Saharan Africa, as well as the R scripts and input data used to produce these maps. The BII represents the average remaining proportion of ‘intact’ populations of indigenous species given the dominant human land uses and activities, relative to a pre-industrial reference state. The BII is on a scale from 0–100%, reflecting completely transformed to intact areas."BII maps" folder: contains multi-band BII rasters for: All (vertebrates & plants), Vertebrates, Plants, Amphibians, Reptiles, Mammals, Birds, Forbs, Graminoids, and Trees and shrubs at 1 × 1 km and 8 × 8 km resolution."R scripts and input data" folder: the BII for sub-Saharan Africa was calculated in R using a series of R scripts, due to the large size of the datasets involved. Later scripts in the sequence build upon the output data of earlier scripts. The original data in the analysis come from a number of publicly available datasets, although all the data used in the analysis (which in some cases have been cleaned or filtered) are also uploaded here. All r scripts and data files are described in the ReadMe word document. The BII maps were produced in vector (point) format (available in the "map_outputs" sub-folder), and thereafter converted to raster.
