Data for the 11-Year Catalog of Gamma-Ray Transients Observed with Fermi GBM

This repository contains the transient event catalog observed with the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM), generated as a result of an extensive offline searches presented in the paper "An 11-Year Catalog of Gamma-Ray Transients: A Comprehensive Search with Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor Data". The catalog files are in the CSV format and there are 12 of them; one each for the total of 12 searches (3 statistical methods x 4 modes). They are named as “[Method]_Mode_[X]_final_output.csv”, where [Method] = SNR, Poisson, or Bayesian and [X] = 1, 2, 3, or 4, corresponding to the four search modes. Each CSV file contains two description rows: column headers in the 1st row and format in the 2nd row. Additionally, the following supplementary data are included: SAA_Filtered_Events_List.csv: List of SAA filtered events, which are excluded from the catalog (See section 4.3.1 of the paper). BB tar.gz files: Contain FITS files with Bayesian Block lightcurve information for all the hours/dates for which an event is found in the Bayesian searches (Modes 1-4). The gzipped TAR files are named as “BB_Mode_[X].tar.gz”, where [X] = 1, 2, 3, or 4. In each TAR file, the FITS files are named with the same name convention of the Event ID used in the catalog.
