Farms perception of economic performace during pandemic and post-pandemic crises

The file contains data collected during interviews among 171 farms in Poland in 2023. The study concerned measuring the perception gap and cognitive bias among farmers in assessing changes in economic performance during the pandemic and post-pandemic crises (2020-2023), including changes in agricultural production, income and costs. They include estimated values of changes in selected economic variables (in %). The estimated data were compared to the real data received from FADN system to indicate the level of perception gap and cognitive bias. Two groups of farms were analysed - farms participating and not participating in short food supply chains (SFSC). As a result, a comparative analysis was conducted.
