资源简介:
This dataset comprises detailed survey data collected from 4,719 households across the Ernakulam and Idukki districts in Kerala, India, following the severe flooding in August 2018. The dataset includes variables related to household demographics, morbidity and mortality, livelihoods, evacuation decisions, and response to the flood. The survey employed a two-stage cluster randomized sampling method. Wards were stratified into three flood index tiers—Low, Medium, and High—based on a “Flood Inundation Index” developed by the Dartmouth Observatory. A total of 170 wards were sampled proportionally, with 30 households randomly selected from each ward, resulting in a comprehensive representation of the impacted population. Data were collected through face-to-face interviews using Android tablets equipped with the Commcare data collection tool. Data Collection Period: May - June 2019 Geographic Coverage: Ernakulam and Idukki districts, Kerala, India
