Numerical Data and MATLAB Scripts for Core-Separation-Dependent Supermode Splitting and Coupling Dynamics in Symmetric Dual-Core Optical Fibers
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the manuscript entitled “Core-Separation Dependence of Supermode Splitting and Coupling Dynamics in Symmetric Dual-Core Optical Fibers.” It contains the numerical results generated for symmetric step-index dual-core fibers with center-to-center core separations of 6, 7, 8, and 9 µm using a 401 × 401 transverse grid. The deposited files include summary data for the fundamental even and odd supermodes, effective-index splitting, CMT-derived and BPM-extracted coupling lengths, relative differences, core-resolved powers, and longitudinal BPM propagation maps. MATLAB scripts are provided to reproduce Figures 2–5 of the manuscript from the deposited CSV and Excel files. The numerical data were generated using custom MATLAB implementations of a scalar finite-difference eigenmode solver and a scalar split-step Fourier beam-propagation method developed by the author. The complete simulation engine is not included. Figure 5 may require additional processing time because of the size of the BPM propagation datasets.
