Urban units 2020 on 1 January 2021 on the department of Haute-Marne and the neighbouring departments. The concept of urban unity is based on the continuity of the building and the number of inhabitants. Urban units are built in metropolitan France and in the overseas departments according to the following definition: a municipality or group of municipalities with a continuous building area (no cut-off of more than 200 metres between two buildings) with at least 2,000 inhabitants.
