Under the guidance of Dr. Ozgur Ozcelik, this research project focused on the configuration of a dynamic data acquisition to collect data that will be used in future system identification. The purpose of this paper is to study the type of equipment that goes into collecting all the invaluable data. In order to see if the data acquisition system was successful, it was deployed onto a steel frame specimen, where an ambient and white noise test were performed.
