The Global Microbial Strain Catalogue Database Cluster will be constructed as a database containing 400,000 strain records, covering the classification, preservation, global distribution information, literature, patent information of global microbial resources, as well as other relevant information. It will provide a globally unified data warehouse for the valuable microbial resources scattered across culture collection centers and individual researchers worldwide, and will offer information services for microbial strain resources to the global scientific and industrial communities through a unified data portal.
