In Situ Ichthyoplankton Imaging System (ISIIS) lobster phyllosoma and zooplankton images and associated oceanographic data from Fall of 2015

Data were collected between October 29 and November 2, 2015 onboard the RV Point Sur as part of the CONCORDE field sampling campaign. The data includes image segments (regions of interest) of phyllosoma larvae with their classifications as attached or unattached to gelatinous zooplankton (4 days of data) as well as all zooplankton above a 2000 pixel size threshold imaged on October 30, 2015. Each individual phyllosoma was merged to the nearest environmental data collected by the In Situ Ichthyoplankton Imaging System, which includes traditional oceanographic data (temp, salinity, etc.). Measurements of the phyllosoma and attached gelatinous zooplankton are also included. The purpose of the data collection was to describe the oceanographic relationships to phyllosoma and zooplankton distributions and behaviors in the northern Gulf of Mexico.
