The Digital Topographic Map 1:1.000.000 (DTK1000) contains the grid data of the map <Federal Republic of Germany 1: 1 000 000> (D1000). The resolution of the data is 320 pixels per cm. The raster data are divided into layers by cartographic content elements. For the DTK1000 there are 1 total layer, 7 single layers and an additional layer. The total layer is formed by a combination of single layers 1 to 7 and contains the colored, complete map of the D1000 without shadow-plastic terrain representation (shumbering).
