The purpose of the series was to enable checking the validity of a receipt or license,.This record contains the following information: date of order for books, order number, number of books ordered, date of receipt, printer’s account voucher number, receipt book number, the receipt numbers included in the books, date issued, initials of person to whom issued, auditors notes and remarks.The entries were recorded in chronological order.
