Cocoa Intensification, Governance, and Land-Use Change: Evidence from the Guinea Forest Ecological Zone of Africa

This dataset contains publicly available data compiled from various repositories to evaluate the relationship among cocoa intensification, governance, and land-use change in the Guinea Forest Ecological Zone of Africa from 1980 to 2023. The dataset covers unbalanced panel data on the four major cocoa-producing countries in the agroecological region: Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, and Cote d'Ivoire.
