COMETS survey data

This dataset is an anonymized version of the survey data collected in the EU COMETS project (http://www.comets-project.eu/) on collective action in the energy domain. The survey database contains information on 206 Collective Action Initiatives (CAIs) located in each of the COMETS target countries (Belgium, Estonia, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain) with entries ranging between 24 and 47 per country. Each record contains information on 5 main aspects: 1) the origin of CAIs (initiative takers, first supporters), 2) the CAIs' activities (e.g. renewable energy production, social inclusion), 3) participation and the organization (e.g. legal form), 4) the environment in which CAIs develop (e.g. the geographical level), and 5) support needs of CAIs (e.g. main barriers perceived).
