R script files that are referred to in Unbiased Sampling and Volume-Sorting of Origin-Specific Terminals Using SBEM Image Stacks by Erisir, Briegel, Maher, and Sciaccotta, 202

This dataset contains R Script files used in the Volumetric Sorting method described in Erisir et al., 202x [citation in progress]. A sample data file and a README file are also included. MClust_Volume_Sorting.R organizes a data file that is similar in structure to the sample file and runs mclust analysis to identify terminal subpopulations, the volumes of which are measured via 3D reconstructions using Scanning Blockface Electron Microscopy image stacks. MonteCarlo_VolumeSortingCutoffs.R simulates the subpopulation parameters to identify generalizable cutoff volumes.
