Given that the health risks posed by bacteria in dust can easily spread to different areas, the study randomly took dust from indoor and public areas in residential areas of Changchun to design healthier living spaces by understanding the effects of temperature, relative humidity, building characteristics and occupant behaviour on the bacterial community in residential areas.
