Transcription profiling of olfactory epithelia isolated from wild type and KLF7 null mice to identify potential KLF7 target genes in olfactory sensory neurons

KLF7 null mice show profound axonal growth defects in the olfactory epithelium. The goal of this study was the identification of potential KLF7 target genes in olfactory sensory neurons. Experiment Overall Design: Olfactory epithelia were isolated from 3 wildtype and 3 mutant 1 day old pups and the RNA isolated, labeled and hybridized to one chip each.KLF7基因敲除小鼠在嗅觉上皮中表现出严重的轴突生长缺陷。本研究旨在鉴定嗅觉感觉神经元中潜在的KLF7靶基因。实验整体设计：从3只野生型（wildtype）与3只1日龄突变型幼崽中分离嗅觉上皮，提取RNA并完成标记，随后分别与单张芯片进行杂交。
