Equality index

The Equality Index measure a respondent’s emphasis on gender equality - since gender equality is the most basic area of equality - based on three items indicating how strongly they disagree with the statements that (a) “education is more important for a boy than a girl”, (b) “when jobs are scarce, men should have priority over women to get a job”, and (c) “men make better political leaders than women”.

平等指数（Equality Index）用于衡量受访者对性别平等的重视程度——鉴于性别平等是平等领域中最基础的范畴——该指数基于三项调查条目，用以评估受访者对以下表述的反对强度：(a) “教育对男孩比对女孩更为重要”，(b) “当就业岗位稀缺时，男性应优先于女性获得工作”，以及(c) “男性比女性更胜任政治领袖一职”。
