Supporting data for “Functional Characterization of proteins involved in bacterial polyphosphate and alarmone metabolism”

Our research focuses on a detailed analysis of the PPX-GppA, PPK1/PPK2 and RelA/SpoT (RSH) homologue found in oral bacteria. Our analysis includes the recombinant protein activity, genomic distribution, and its functional correlation with adjacent proteins. These data provide insight into the unique functions of polyp metabolism and pppGpp metabolism that were previously unexplored.
