Water chemistry characteristics of two tributaries of Placentia Bay, Newfoundland, in 2019

This dataset includes surface water characteristics such as: dissolved organic carbon, total dissolved nitrogen, ammonium, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, urea, silica, dissolved iron, dissolved aluminum, CDOM spectral slope, chlorophyll, particulate carbon, nitrogen particulate, delta 13C. These analyzes follow the estuarine gradient of two tributaries of Placentia Bay in Newfoundland, Canada. Samples were collected monthly from February to October 2019. The objective of this work is to provide critical baseline data for the Placentia Bay region.

This project was funded by Fisheries and Oceans Canada's Coastal Environmental Baseline Data Program under the Oceans Protection Plan.
