Abundance of invertebrate taxa found in intertidal stands of seaweeds and mussels in Nova Scotia, Canada

This dataset describes the density (individuals/dm2) of invertebrate taxa found in replicate plots (100 cm2 in area) fully covered by either canopy-forming algae (Chondrus crispus) or mussels (Mytilus spp.) in wave-exposed rocky intertidal habitats near Duck Reef, Nova Scotia, Canada, surveyed between late September and early October of 2021.
