本数据集提取自包含*Platanthera praeclara*（西部草原流苏兰，western prairie fringed orchid）的标本馆标本台纸（herbarium sheets）照片。本数据对应研究手稿《降水影响*Platanthera praeclara* Sheviak & Bowles的株高而非繁殖投入：来自标本馆记录的证据》。数据集的构建方法详见该手稿。所用R代码未添加注释，但为最终正式版本。
