Ground Penetrating Radar Survey of Portions of the Old White Meeting House Cemetery

"In June 2007, Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted a Ground Penetrating Radar
(GPR) survey of portions of the Old White Meeting House Cemetery in an effort to mitigate any
adverse effects on archaeological resources that may result from the proposed widening of
SC Route 642 (Dorchester Road). This work was conducted through Davis & Floyd, Inc., for the
Dorchester County Sales Tax Authority (DCTA) in advance of road improvement activities
along this portion of SC Route 642. This project is being developed and advanced by DCTA and
the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT). All phases of research and
fieldwork were conducted in accordance with the South Carolina Standards and Guidelines for
Archaeological Investigations (SCDAH 2005). ..."
