Water temperature, salinity, and other data from CTD and water sampling taken from NOAA Ship Pisces, cruise PC-18-03, in the Northwestern Tropical Atlantic from 2018-06-03 to 2018-06-16 (NCEI Accession 0183583)

This dataset contains CTD profiles from cruise PC-18-03 by NOAA Ship Pisces in 2018. It had the objective to service a number of moored platforms for the NTAS and MOVE projects (Northwest Tropical Atlantic Station and Meridional Overturning Variability Experiment, resp.). To calibrate and validate the mooring data, CTD casts with salinity and oxygen water samples were collected. The CTD sensor data have been quality-controlled and adjusted using the water sample data. The raw CTD data files are already available through the NOAA Rolling Deck to Repository (NOAA R2R) program at the NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information under accession number 0176413. Data are in netCDF.
