STEM ADF images (tiff) for: Substrate-dependent pore formation in molybdenum disulfide monolayers under ion irradiation
收藏资源简介:
# Dataset README — Substrate-dependent pore formation in molybdenum disulfide monolayers under ion irradiation ## What this dataset isThis dataset contains high-resolution STEM annular dark-field (ADF) images (`.tiff`, approximately 20 GB total) of ion-irradiated monolayer MoS$_2$, together with analysis files used for pore-size measurements and pore-formation-efficiency calculations. The images are sorted according to their irradiation parameters. In the experiments documented in this record, the MoS$_2$ monolayers were supported by a substrate during irradiation. This dataset supports the manuscript: **“Substrate-dependent pore formation in molybdenum disulfide monolayers under ion irradiation”** (submitted; no article DOI yet) Suspended reference data are not part of this Zenodo record but stem from a previous publication: **J. Phys. Chem. Lett. 2019, 10, 904.** DOI: 10.1021/acs.jpclett.8b03666 ## License**Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)** — reuse and adaptation are permitted, including for commercial purposes, provided appropriate credit is given and any changes are indicated. ## Suggested citation Liebsch, Y.; Javed, U.; Skopinski, L.; Daniel, L.; Appel, F.; Rahali, R.; Grygiel, C.; Lebius, H.; Frank, C.; Breuer, L.; Kirsch, L.; Koch, F.; Kotakoski, J.; Schleberger, M. (YEAR). *Dataset for: Substrate-dependent pore formation in molybdenum disulfide monolayers under ion irradiation* (Version v1.0) [Data set]. Zenodo. DOI: <ZENODO_DOI> --- # Files in this Zenodo recordThis record contains:- `README_V01.md` (this file)- `raw_data/`- `analysis/` ## Folder structure ### `raw_data/`This folder contains the raw experimental microscopy data. Structure:- `raw_data/HCI/`- `raw_data/SHI/` Within each of these folders, the data are further organized into subfolders corresponding to specific irradiation conditions or sample series. These subfolders contain the raw STEM ADF images in `.tiff` format. ### `analysis/`This folder contains processed analysis files in Origin project format. These files contain:- pore-size measurements- pore-size distributions- pore-formation-efficiency calculations- quantitative evaluation used in the manuscript - Raman/PL data shown in the SI --- # Data organization and content ## Raw microscopy dataThe raw data consist of high-resolution STEM ADF images acquired from ion-irradiated monolayer MoS$_2$ samples. The images are organized by irradiation type:- **HCI** — highly charged ion irradiation- **SHI** — swift heavy ion irradiation Within these folders, the data are sorted according to irradiation parameters. The samples documented in this record were supported by a substrate during irradiation. Raw STEM ADF image size can vary slightly from their calibration. For a correct image size apply a fourier transform to the image and calculate the lattice distance (it should be 0.315 nm). ## Analysis dataThe `analysis/` folder contains Origin project files with the quantitative analysis derived from the microscopy data. --- # File formats ## TIFF images (`.tiff`)Raw STEM ADF image files. These files contain the microscopy data used for the identification and analysis of irradiation-induced pores and defects in monolayer MoS$_2$. ## Origin project filesOrigin project files contain processed numerical data, plotting, and quantitative analysis. These files may include:- worksheets with pore-size values- calculated pore statistics- graph windows- pore-formation-efficiency calculations Because Origin is proprietary software, users without Origin may require exported text or spreadsheet files for direct numerical reuse. --- # Reuse notesThis dataset is intended to document the experimental basis of the manuscript and to enable reuse of both the raw microscopy data and the derived quantitative analysis. Users should note:- raw TIFF images are the original microscopy data- quantitative pore analysis is contained in Origin project files- folder names reflect irradiation type and specific experimental conditions- detailed descriptions of the analysis workflow and interpretation are provided in the manuscript and in the Supporting Information --- # Relationship to the manuscriptThis dataset accompanies the manuscript **“Substrate-dependent pore formation in molybdenum disulfide monolayers under ion irradiation”** and provides the underlying raw STEM ADF microscopy data and analysis files. The dataset focuses on supported monolayer MoS$_2$ samples, with images sorted according to irradiation parameters. Detailed descriptions of the analysis workflow, evaluation procedure, and methodological context are given in the manuscript and in the Supporting Information. Suspended reference data are not included in this record and originate from a previous publication: **J. Phys. Chem. Lett. 2019, 10, 904.** DOI: 10.1021/acs.jpclett.8b03666 --- # SoftwareFiles in this record can be accessed using the following software:- **TIFF images**: ImageJ/Fiji, Python, MATLAB, and other standard image-processing software- **Origin project files**: OriginLab Origin --- # Versioning- **v1.0**: initial Zenodo release containing raw STEM ADF TIFF images and Origin analysis files
