资源简介:
Palynological investigations were undertaken at the Dutch Canal Ruins (NA 19,324) in Phoenix, Arizona to evaluate the paleoenvironment and to gather data concerning agricultural activities at the site. In addition, samples were taken from pitstructure floors and activity areas in an effort to address activities involving plant processing and utilization at the site. Site NA 19,324, the Dutch Canal Ruins, is located approximately 1 mile north of the Salt River in southeastern Phoenix. The site is dominated by Preclassic Hohokam materials, although some Classic materials were recovered previously from the surface.
